Son Bou Scuba is based in the busy resort of Son Bou. Within close distance of the dive centre we have the largest beach of Menorca (approx. 5 kilometres long) and several coves, offering easy access to the calm, blue Mediterranean Sea.

Also within close range are several supermarkets and shops selling a full range of menorquin goods, as well as restaurants with menus full of Mediterranean delights. A car rental agency is close to us and parking lots are available.

The dive centre is next to a medical centre and a pharmacy is 5 minutes walking distance away. Several play areas for the kid’s are available in the vicinity. Close to the dive centre is a water park, open daily, which has several pools and a giant slide.

Just sixteen kilometres away it is possible to visit the capital of the island, Mahón,which has the best natural harbour in the whole of the Mediterranean. You can watch the sailing boats come in while having a coffee in one of the many waterfront cafés’. Restaurants offer local delicacies and fresh seafood.
At the entrance to the port you can see the island of Mola, which used to be the most notorious prison during the régime of Franco. From here, beautiful sunsets can be seen.

After climbing some steps you can visit the centre of Mahón, with its’ famous fish market, and also the main shopping streets start here. The cross streets are narrow and picturesque filled with palaces, converts and temples.

Mahón offers a large variety of activities and is only twenty minutes by car from Son Bou.
